Treasurer Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day cash management, ensuring sufficient liquidity to support operations across multiple funds and investment accounts
- Monitor and manage high-volume cash flow, including forecasting, tracking inflows and outflows, and maintaining financial stability
- Support the budgeting process by partnering with leadership to align cash flow planning with organizational objectives
- Assist with annual audit preparation, including account reconciliations, documentation, and coordination with auditors
- Manage and track non-trading investment activity, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to organizational policies
Treasurer Requirements
- Prior experience in a nonprofit environment is strongly preferred
- Experience with cash flow management
- Experience with Sage accounting software is a plus
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
