OVERVIEW OF THE SR. HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST ROLE:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles including field, office, and leadership positions
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and drive effective hiring strategies
- Utilize and maintain ATS/HRIS systems to support recruiting and employee data management
- Collaborate on the development, implementation, and improvement of HR policies and procedures
- Support and help enhance employee performance review processes
- Administer employee benefits and assist with employee relations matters
- Act as a trusted resource to employees and leadership, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Provide HR support in a multi-state environment, ensuring awareness of compliance requirements
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership and operations teams to support organizational initiatives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SR. HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST:
- Payroll knowledge or exposure, including understanding of compliance considerations (multi-state environment)
- Experience with prevailing wage environments is a plus
- Background in construction or a multi-state organization strongly preferred
- Highly personable with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
- High integrity with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Hands-on, “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality
