About the Role

Workplace: Hybrid. At least 3 days in office, up to 2 days virtual for employees within 50 miles of a Farmers corporate office. Applicants beyond 50 miles may still be considered. Job Summary Partners with business teams to design and implement basic data and analytics‑centric and value‑added systems and solutions that enable business outcomes. Projects are of limited complexity. Performs work independently or with coaching and guidance, depending on task complexity. This role provides operational and analytical support for IA Incentives and Promotions & IA Distribution leadership regarding the IAD Budget. Essential Job Functions Maintain and develop data reporting to support Field Enablement, Territory/Market leadership. Collaborate with various IAD teams, as well as cross‑functional teams, such as Distribution Finance. Support ad‑hoc projects when needed. Develop basic value‑based analytics solutions for quality, business process functionality, or other strategic/data/analytic initiatives of limited complexity. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and establish analytics requirements. Create detailed documentation and business plans that address stakeholder needs. Liaise between IA Distribution and Finance for analytics models and data solutions. Act as trusted business partner working with business leaders and cross‑functional teams to identify key challenges and work on resolutions to improve organizational performance. Develop and implement basic enterprise‑wide data integration strategies that utilize various data marts and data warehouse applications to enhance reporting. Continuously work to improve data platforms, dashboards, and reports to meet emerging and changing business demands and guidelines. Manage data from single sources and use project‑management skills to complete simple projects with coaching and guidance. Transmit data and proactively work to ensure data quality. Troubleshoot data issues and devise creative and effective ways to avoid or mitigate issues. Use a basic understanding of data elements, structures, and standards typically involved in financial services transactions, reporting, and cloud‑based data storage/sharing to adopt and apply standards that satisfy and balance regulatory and compliance requirements with business needs. Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience Requirements 1‑2 years of related work experience required. Experience in insurance industry preferred. Special Skill Requirement Demonstrate strong Excel skills, Power BI, Python, SQL experience (preferred). Additional Qualification Demonstrated analytical skills. Demonstrated problem‑solving skills. Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills. Possesses strong technical aptitude. Basic experience with SQL or similar, dimensional modeling, pipeline orchestration, building data pipelines to transform data, and BI visualizations. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to influence internal and/or external constituents. Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty. Physical Actions Job is performed in‑person at a Farmers office or virtually at an approved alternative work location. The physical work environment is indoors and climate‑controlled with adequate lighting and ventilation.
