About the Role
Valor Hospitality - 116 San Marco Avenue - Responsibilities: Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards, use records, production and portion standards, per order specs; Work all stations on kitchen line to include broiler, sauté, fry, pantry, and expediter stations; Date all food containers and rotate as per the SOP, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up; Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to recipes across multiple kitchen stations, ensure food safety and portion control
- Maintain inventory and station setup, rotate perishables, control waste and food cost
- Assist in line setup and corrective actions for food cost
