What You’ll Be Doing
  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and leaders, providing daily guidance and support
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including coaching, investigations, and documentation
  • Support performance management and disciplinary processes with consistency and care
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across a multi-state workforce
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle changes
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
  • Partner with leadership to address evolving business and workforce needs
  • Assist with leave administration and general HR operations
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist (or similar) experience
  • Strong employee relations background and ability to navigate sensitive situations
  • Proven ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and sound judgment
  • Professionalism and discretion with confidential information
Bonus Experience
  • Background in construction, environmental, or field-based industries
  • Experience supporting multi-state or distributed teams
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paylocity a plus)
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR)
