Fmla/ Benefits Specialist
About the Role
Our client is seeking a Human Resource Generalist – FMLA / Benefits Specialist to support their HR team in South Bend, IN. The Human Resource Generalist will focus on benefits administration, FMLA coordination, and supporting employees with HR policies and leave processes.
Human Resource Generalist Responsibilities• Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
• Manage FMLA, short-term disability, and leave of absence requests ensuring compliance
• Serve as the HR contact for employee benefit questions and enrollment support
• Maintain accurate HR documentation related to benefits and leave cases
• Assist with onboarding and general HR administrative support
• 2+ years of HR experience
• Experience with benefits administration and FMLA
• Strong organization and confidentiality skills
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office
• Salary: $48,000 – $52,000 annually
• Location: South Bend, IN
• Schedule: Monday – Friday |8:00AM-5:00PM (on-site)
