Automotive Service Writer

Description: POSITION TITLE: Automotive Service Writer REPORTS TO: Service Manager DEPARTMENT: Service POSITION SUMMARY: The Automotive Service Writer acts as the liaison between customers and the service department to ensure timely and accurate service and build customer relationships. Essential Job Functions: * Provides helpful, friendly and respectful customer service with a We Can Do That attitude. * Combines advanced automotive knowledge with strong leadership skills to effectively collaborate with the service technician team to ensure best in class service to customers. * Builds strong customer relationships to generate repeat customers. * Creates work schedules and manages service center workflow. * Leads and mentors junior technicians to assist in their growth and development. * Road tests vehicles. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Secondary Job Functions: * Cross train in other areas as needed. * Other duties as assigned Requirements: Position Requirements: * Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician. * Must possess a valid Driver's License. * ASE Certifications and/or a technical school degree are preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills Compensation details: Yearly Salary PI0f56ff7f
