Responsibilities of this Accounting Manager:
- Apply GAAP revenue recognition principles to financial reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to maintain accuracy.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and month-end closing.
- Ensure accounting records are accurate, efficient, and compliant with regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancements.
- Prepare documentation and reports for external audits.
- Review and code credit card transactions, ensuring proper classification and entry into the general ledger.
- Oversee and approve travel expense reimbursements.
- Assist with special accounting projects as assigned by the Controller.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED for the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Microsoft Dynamics experience +++
- Excel proficiency is required
