Accounting Manager

Salary: $100,000 – $125,000

• Own and drive the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial fluctuations to maintain clean books
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Lead revenue recognition efforts (ASC 606) across contract-based and milestone-driven work
• Oversee project-level financial tracking, ensuring alignment between revenue and expenses
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve cost allocation and revenue timing
• Partner on audit deliverables, including schedules and technical accounting support
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, controls, and system efficiencies
• Mentor and review work of accounting staff, helping elevate team performance
• The Accounting Manager will play a key role in improving and optimizing ERP and reporting tools

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, prior experience as an Accounting Manager, or a Senior Accountant with leadership experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting guidance
• Experience working with auditors and supporting audits
• Background in public accounting or a technically complex environment is a plus
