About the Role

Shift
12-Hour Rotating Shift
Description

Assist in maintaining the wastewater systems and equipment performing preventive maintenance.
Break down, repair and replace pumps.
Diagnose and fix low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, Ph. meters, Level transducers, etc.
Repair equipment as necessary
Wire motors for equipment, lights and switches.
Replace belts and properly align motor and blower.
Maintain maintenance logs.
Maintain accurate wastewater treatment logs.
Conduct basic lab analyses and perform simple calculations. INDHP

Requirements

Wastewater treatment system operations experience.
Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred..
Electrical wiring experience preferred.
Welding experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC).
Stand 8+ hours throughout work day.
Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
Regularly lift 50+ lbs. to include moving, lifting, and pushing machinery.
Regularly climb up and down ladders.
Frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
