Travel Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Lake Charles, LA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in an outpatient setting. The clinic is family-owned and family-run, established for over 30 years, and emphasizes a collaborative, team-oriented approach that values problem-solving, innovation, and the mind-body connection.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Louisiana Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient therapy preferred. Familiarity with EMR systems; experience with Practice Perfect is preferred. Ability to oversee care and establish plan of care for patients. Comfort working in a team-oriented environment and ability to make independent clinical decisions when needed. Current resume required to submit application.

Preferred Qualifications Experience working with support staff or techs who assist with patient care. Experience integrating mental health concepts into physical rehabilitation. Previous experience in a small, family-run clinic environment.

Assignment Details Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Patients begin at 8:00 AM. Lunch at 1:00 PM. Typical patient volume approximately two patients per hour, with about 30 minutes spent per patient. Each patient is assigned a tech; OTs oversee care and establish plans of care.
