About the Role
Dollar General - - Responsibilities: Manage the Perishable Departments including Produce, Fresh Meat, Packaged Meats, and Dairy, Frozen Food, Bread, and Thaw and Sell Bakery products.; Maintain correct perishable stock levels based on store volume using various order guides and sales history tools.; Assist in training associates in presentation, freshness, pricing, and safe handling of food.; Assist in scheduling coverage and managing work completion with store leadership.; Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.

Qualifications
- Experience in perishable department management preferred?
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling.
- Leadership or supervisory experience in retail or grocery is a plus
