About the Role
Dollar General - - Responsibilities: Manage the Perishable Departments including Produce, Fresh Meat, Packaged Meats, Dairy, Frozen Food, Bread, and Thaw and Sell Bakery products; Maintain correct perishable stock levels based on store volume using planning tools and order guides; Train associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing, and safe handling of perishable products; Assist in scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and monitor performance; Record perishable markdowns and inventory levels, and ensure sanitation and compliance with food handling rules
