Staff Accountant

A growing, privately backed organization in the Lakeville area is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its collaborative, high‑accountability accounting team. • Experience across AP, AR, and the general ledger
• Strong GAAP exposure through hands-on month-end close work
• Direct access to senior finance leaders

• Ability to move into areas like FP&A over time

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Support month-end close
• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation
• Process and apply electronic and credit card payments
• Assist with audit and compliance schedules
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• At least 1 year of GAAP-based accounting experience
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and GL work
• Strong attention to detail and desire to understand the “why”
• Excel proficiency; Sage Intacct experience is a plus

Hybrid role based in Lakeville, MN

$55,000–$65,000 depending on experience
