About the Role
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily financial operations and ensure accurate, reliable financial reporting. The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining financial data integrity, supporting cross-functional teams, and contributing to efficient month-end and year-end close processes. Key Responsibilities – Staff Accountant
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a broad range of general accounting activities, including:
- Researching and resolving transaction and posting discrepancies to ensure accurate general ledger data
- Preparing and reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, cash, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial reports for leadership
- Collaborating with internal departments to identify and resolve accounting issues and assisting with external audits
- Producing recurring and ad hoc financial reports and analyses to support strategic and operational decisions
- Assisting with budgeting, variance analysis, and documentation of accounting procedures
- Researching appropriate accounting treatments and supporting special projects as assigned
Qualifications – Staff Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 1–3 years of accounting experience; industry experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
Skills & Experience
The ideal Staff Accountant will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Experience working with integrated ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Great Plains or Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and general ledger reconciliations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet deadlines with strong attention to detail
Responsibilities

Qualifications

- ERP systems experience (e.g., MS Great Plains, Dynamics 365)
