You will oversee network engineering, operations, vendor strategy, and long-term roadmap development—while leading and developing a high-performing team.What You'll Bring
- 12+ years in enterprise network/infrastructure
- 4+ years of leadership experience (ideally managing managers)
- Expertise in routing/switching, SD-WAN, MPLS, BGP/OSPF
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong background in network security (firewalls, Zero Trust, SASE)
- Experience in large, multi-site environments
- Exposure to vendor management, budgets, and roadmaps
- Own and execute the technology roadmap for network, firewall, telecom, and cloud connectivity platforms
- Lead the design and evolution of highly available, scalable, and secure network architectures
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including incident response (P1/P2), root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Drive large-scale initiatives across SD-WAN, cloud networking, wireless, and next-gen security
- Partner with business and IT leadership to translate requirements into practical, scalable solutions
- Manage and develop a team of managers, engineers, and analysts
- Own vendor and MSP relationships, including contract negotiation, performance management, and SLAs
- Develop and manage CapEx and OpEx budgets, ensuring strong ROI and cost optimization
- Establish and track KPIs and performance metrics for platform health and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements (PCI, SOX)
- Experience in large-scale retail or multi-location environments
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or cloud networking certifications
- Experience with network observability tools (SolarWinds, Dynatrace, etc.)
- Background in telecom/voice platforms and cost optimization
