About the Role

Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Columbus, OH, working in a hospital setting. Use your skills to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders while contributing to interdisciplinary discharge planning and patient safety initiatives. Minimum Requirements Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.Active Ohio state SLP license required prior to start of assignment.BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, developing treatment plans, and documenting in accordance with hospital, state, federal, and payer guidelines.Experience with dysphagia evaluation and intervention, including trialing and recommending adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address barriers to discharge and coordinate equipment and services.Comfort with medical charting systems and completing goal writing, functional quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and discharge documentation in a timely manner.Willingness to participate in student supervision and professional development activities.Adherence to state practice act, professional codes of conduct, and hospital policies regarding safety, appearance, attendance, and : Prior hospital experience and familiarity with safe patient handling and infection control protocols.
