Senior Solutions Architect - HPE Full Time Professional DC Metro 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1295 Job Description – Senior Solutions Architect – Technology Team Title: Senior Solutions Architect Location: Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA (hybrid), or Mid-Atlantic region Description BlueAlly is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for our Technology Team with deep expertise in HPE computer, storage, and data center infrastructure platforms. This role is a hands-on presales solutions engineer responsible for designing, validating, and positioning HPE-based solutions that address customer infrastructure modernization, performance, and hybrid cloud needs. This role is not part of an enterprise strategy or broad portfolio architecture function. The ideal candidate focuses on technical solution design, presales execution, and customer engagement, serving as the HPE technical authority in active sales cycles rather than an enterprise-wide architect. Responsibilities Partner with sales teams to identify customer technical requirements across compute, storage, and data center infrastructure Design and propose HPE-based solutions aligned to customer business and technical objectives Serve as the technical lead on complex HPE opportunities, including server, storage, and hybrid infrastructure solutions Develop and deliver technical presentations, architecture reviews, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts Translate customer requirements into HPE reference architectures and best-practice designs Collaborate with HPE field teams and internal SMEs to validate designs and accelerate deal closure Support infrastructure refresh, consolidation, and modernization initiatives Stay current on HPE product roadmaps, platform enhancements, and competitive positioning Position Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Knowledge & Experience 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or presales engineering role Strong background in enterprise compute and storage architectures Deep experience with HPE infrastructure platforms, including: HPE ProLiant servers HPE Synergy and composable infrastructure HPE Alletra and Primera storage HPE Nimble Storage HPE GreenLake consumption models Experience designing hybrid infrastructure solutions, including on-prem, co-lo, and cloud-adjacent architectures HPE Private Cloud AI (PCAI) platform experience is a major plus Working knowledge of virtualization, networking, backup, and disaster recovery solutions Proven presales experience supporting customer-facing solution design and deal cycles Strong communication skills with the ability to present to technical and executive audiences Ability to work independently while collaborating across sales and technical teams Willingness to travel to customer and company locations as needed Certifications (Preferred) HPE Master ASE – Compute Solutions HPE Master ASE – Storage Solutions HPE ASE – Data Center Architect HPE ASE – Hybrid IT Solutions Additional HPE certifications related to GreenLake or AI solutions – a plus VMware VCP or equivalent virtualization certifications – preferred Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) – a plus Key Differentiators HPE Compute & Storage Expertise: Server and storage architecture design and optimization Performance tuning, scalability, and resiliency strategies Infrastructure consolidation and refresh initiatives High availability and disaster recovery architectures HPE GreenLake design and positioning Hybrid on-prem and cloud-adjacent solutions Cost modeling and capacity planning AI & Advanced Workloads (Preferred): HPE Private Cloud AI (PCAI) platform design and positioning GPU-enabled infrastructure and high-performance workloads Secure, scalable AI-ready architectures Work Conditions 40-hour work week with availability during standard business hours Location: Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA (hybrid), or Mid-Atlantic region #J-18808-Ljbffr
