Job Responsibilities: Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst / Test Engineer (Hybrid- onsite 2 days a week) Required Skills (Top Priorities) 5+ years of QA requirements analysis and test planning 5+ years of QA execution and defect tracking Hands-on experience with QA tracking tools (Rational, HP ALM, or similar) Strong backend functional testing experience Expertise in functional and integration testing Ability to design, execute, and manage test scenarios and scripts Experience with regression testing and full test lifecycle management Strong communication and collaboration skills with business and technical teams Proven ability to review and enhance test plans for full coverage Experience in defect management, re-testing, and issue resolution Solid documentation skills (test scripts, reports, progress tracking) Strong time management, risk management, and quality assurance practices Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP Financials Experience with GenTax Familiarity with Oxygen XML Editor Overview / Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst / Test Engineer to support end-to-end testing activities across system implementations and enhancements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that applications meet business requirements and are delivered with high quality and reliability. You will work closely with Business Analysts, development teams, and third-party vendors to validate system functionality and drive successful test outcomes. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Business Analysts and development teams throughout requirements, development, and testing phases Develop and execute test scenarios to validate acceptance criteria and business requirements Perform system, functional, and integration testing for new and updated applications Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure comprehensive test coverage Conduct QA checks to ensure code delivered to test environments is fit-for-purpose Participate in meetings and workshops for requirement validation, prioritization, and test planning Create structured, prioritized, and stakeholder-approved test scenarios and scripts Manage test cycles, including regression testing and test pack maintenance Execute test scripts, monitor execution progress, and document results Coordinate defect re-testing with business users and third-party teams Maintain test documentation, including scripts, schedules, reports, and dashboards Act as liaison between business units and IT teams for test planning and execution Manage risks, issues, timelines, and quality throughout the testing lifecycle Support team members and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes Perform additional testing-related tasks as assigned by the Test Team Lead What Success Looks Like High-quality releases with minimal defects Well-documented and repeatable test processes Strong collaboration across business and technical teams Proactive identification and mitigation of risks and issues What Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your Future HTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
