Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules for multiple entities
• Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Assist with month end and year end close activities
• Support preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Track and reconcile bank activity across multiple accounts

Qualifications we’re looking for in a Senior Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Exposure to fixed assets and depreciation preferred
• CPA preferred but not required
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as Yardi is a plus
