About the Role
Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.; Respond to incidents, disturbances, policy violations, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership.; Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, administrative areas, common spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.; Monitor access points and campus locations, assisting with visitor direction, credential checks, and/or entry procedures in accordance with site policies.; Support a professional atmosphere at the location by observing surroundings, communicating clearly with occupants, and helping with security-related requests as needed.
