About the Role

La Villa Grande Care Center in Grand Junction, CO, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality skilled nursing care, personalized support, and clinical oversight to residents in a nurturing environment where they can thrive. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, and closely monitor residents’ conditions, documenting all changes accurately in the medical record. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of CNAs, therapists, physicians, and families, you will help ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met with respect, integrity, and empathy. You will support daily living activities, provide education to residents and families on health conditions and care plans, and advocate for resident safety, comfort, and dignity at all times. As a key clinical resource on the unit, you will supervise and support CNAs and other direct care staff, delegate tasks appropriately, and provide coaching and feedback to maintain high standards of care. You will participate in care conferences, quality improvement initiatives, infection prevention efforts, and regulatory compliance activities, helping maintain a safe, clean, and person-centered environment. This position requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to respond calmly and efficiently to changes in condition and medical emergencies.
