About the Role
Aiken Regional Medical Centers is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to a diverse population in an acute care hospital setting, supporting our mission to deliver comprehensive healthcare services to the residents of the Aiken region. As an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, ensuring that patients and families are supported, informed, and engaged throughout the continuum of care.
The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs and clinical status, administer medications and treatments safely, and document all care accurately in the electronic medical record. You will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and ancillary staff to coordinate diagnostic tests, procedures, and therapeutic interventions, advocating for patient needs and ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice and hospital policies. You will play a key role in patient and family education, explaining diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and self-care strategies in a clear and compassionate manner.
