Project Accountant – Baltimore County, MD
HYBRID (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Our client, a well-established and reputable engineering firm that has been in business for over 45 years is looking to hire a Project Accountant. This is a great opportunity to be part of a stable, growing organization while working closely with project managers and leadership on key financial activities.

$75,000-$105,000 base salary + bonus potential

Project Accountant Job Responsibilities:

• Manage project billing and invoicing in collaboration with project managers
• Set up projects and support project-related accounting tasks
• Track subconsultant purchase orders and assist with project reporting
• Support accounts receivable, including invoicing and cash applications
• Assist with client communication and financial matters
• Handle general accounting tasks and administrative support
• Perform other duties as needed

Project Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience
• Professional services environment, engineering, or construction industry experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of financial and cost accounting principles
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus
