A growing construction organization is adding a Assistant Controller to oversee billing, project financials, and a small team supporting multiple active job sites. Ideal for someone coming from a larger construction firm who can bring stronger processes, structure, and leadership.What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of 2–4 AP/AR/Project Accounting staff
- Manage project billing, pay applications, waivers, and subcontractor payments
- Oversee AR posting and ensure accurate project financial reporting
- Partner with project managers to validate costs and resolve billing issues
- Improve and standardize procedures, workflows, and documentation
- Support technology adoption to streamline accounting processes
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- Construction industry experience required
- CPA
- Knowledge of SOX and GAAP
- Strong knowledge of construction billing and project accounting
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Stable career history with progression
Yearly Compensation 120,000-$160,000 plus benefits
