Locum Tenens Psychiatry Opportunity in North Carolina Are you a dedicated Psychiatrist seeking a locum tenens opportunity? We have an excellent position available in North Carolina. Specialty: Psychiatry Start Date: November 2023 or ASAP Contract Length: 6 months, ongoing Shift: 8a-5p, Monday to Friday Work Details: The provider will primarily be working in a 16-bed inpatient facility-based crisis unit with MD and resident rounding. They will also be available to supervise APP's in the Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) as needed. BHUC is open 24/7 and is staffed with CSWs, TTSs, APPs, and MD supervision. BHUC has 6 adult beds, 6 adolescent beds, and 4 roll-over beds. The provider must be comfortable supervising APPs who treat children ages 5+. EMR: EPIC Requirements: Board Certification (BC or Truly BE), NC License, DEA, CSR, Minimum 1 year of experience Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days Location: Located near Durham, NC.
