Physician - Psychiatry Locum Tenens Position Location: State of North Carolina Are you a skilled Psychiatrist seeking a flexible and fulfilling opportunity? Join our team as a Physician specializing in Psychiatry. We are currently looking for dedicated professionals to provide PRN coverage across multiple facilities within the state of North Carolina. Job Details: Specialty: Psychiatry Start Date: November 2023 or ASAP Contract Length: 6 months, ongoing Shift Details: Flexible weekend and vacation PRN coverage (8a-5p, or 7a-7p depending on location) Schedule: Flexible as needed Support Staff: APP???s Amount of Coverage Needed: PRN, 5 providers needed for pool Patients per Day: Varies Patient Population/Age: Adults (18+) at the FBC; ages 5+ at BHUC Department Description: Provide PRN weekend/vacation coverage at multiple facilities. Facilities include adult inpatient with 12-hour shifts, adult crisis unit with behavioral health urgent care ages 5+ for 8-hour shifts. Primary work will be in FBC, with availability to supervise APP???s in BHUC as needed. Some exposure to child patients (ages 5+) required. BHUC is staffed with various healthcare professionals. EMR: EPIC Skills Required: Comfortable with patients of all ages, especially adults. Ability to supervise APP treating children as young as 5.
