Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Illinois Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start. Experience providing Physical Therapy across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings, including evaluation, plan of care development, and skilled interventions. Experience with common PT modalities and skilled techniques such as ultrasound, NMES, iontophoresis, manual muscle testing, and ROM measurement. Experience supervising and directing Physical Therapy Assistants and collaborating with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams. Comfort functioning in a hospital setting and reporting to a Rehab Director. Preferred: prior travel PT experience or experience with variable/flexible shift assignments and rotating weekend coverage.
Assignment Details
Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Flex Shifts. Shift Details: Monday through Friday, Days; rotating weekend coverage. Position Summary: Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer PT services in inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and increase patient independence. Reporting Structure: Reports to Director of Rehab. No direct reports required beyond supervising PTAs as needed.
