Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA or appropriate accrediting body. Current, active, and unencumbered Physical Therapist license for the state of assignment (Washington required prior to start). BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Home health experience preferred, including conducting evaluations and providing skilled physical therapy in patient homes. Experience supervising and evaluating PTAs and home health aides preferred. Familiarity with home visit requirements: reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance. Proficiency with basic computer functions and electronic documentation systems, including email and online training platforms. 2-3 years of physical therapy experience preferred.
Assignment Details
Location: Kennewick, WA. Facility Type: Home Health. Shift Name: Evenings. Shift Pattern: 5x8. Job Type: Travel, temporary help. Primary Duties: Perform patient evaluations, provide therapeutic services per physician orders, document patient condition, participate in treatment planning, and provide education to patients, families, and agency personnel. Supervisory Responsibilities: May supervise and evaluate Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides as assigned.
