Patient Care Technician, Cna- 4 Main Acute Care- (7p-7a)

UPMC - - Responsibilities: Provide patient care including assisting with patient procedures and activities of daily living.; Perform point of care testing (including blood glucose), weights, vital signs, I&O, telemetry monitor application/reapplication, and HAC & PSI prevention (TEDs/SCDs).; Assist with simple dressings, placement and removal of restraints, bladder scan, specimen collections, 12-lead EKGs.; Demonstrate effective communication with the health care team and maintain professional interpersonal relationships.; Support department-based projects and quality initiatives and communicate learning needs to the unit director.
