Network Architect
About the Role
Our client is a trusted IT infrastructure and managed services provider serving enterprise customers worldwide. Based out of Tulsa, they are looking to hire a Network Architect on a Contract basis.

Contract Duration: 4 Month Contract (Potential for extension or conversion)
Required Skills & Experience
- CCNP to CCIE-level expertise in Cisco networking technologies (CCIE preferred)
- Strong experience with enterprise and campus network design and architecture
- Deep knowledge of:
- Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- VLANs, STP, QoS
- Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, resilient network infrastructures
- Advanced troubleshooting experience in complex production environments
- Ability to handle P1/P2 incidents and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
- Experience with network documentation, diagrams, and standards
Desired Skills & Experience
- CCIE certification (or actively pursuing)
- Experience with data center networking and/or SD-WAN
- Exposure to network automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization
- Previous experience in a lead or architect-level role
Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise and campus network solutions aligned with business needs
- Lead network buildouts, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
- Provide hands-on engineering support, including configuration and deployment of Cisco network devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including high-priority (P1/P2) outages
- Participate in on-call rotation to support critical production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and connectivity initiatives
- Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and standards
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on best practices and emerging technologies
