About the Role
Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will evaluate patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery and design evidence-based, individualized treatment plans to restore mobility, function, and independence. Responsibilities include delivering therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional mobility interventions; documenting care in the EMR; and educating patients and families on rehab goals and home programs. You will collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and an interdisciplinary team in a nurturing, dynamic environment that emphasizes high-quality, patient-centric care and offers strong professional growth.
