We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a well-established agricultural company in Merced County. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, and payroll
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
Partner with leadership to support business strategy and operational decisions
Coordinate with external auditors, tax preparers, and banking partners
Supervise and mentor accounting staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or related industry preferred
Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls
Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
