About the Role
Community Health Systems - - Responsibilities: Greet patients and families in a professional and compassionate manner; Register patients for emergency services, obtaining all required personal, insurance, and medical information; Verifies insurance coverage and eligibility, ensuring that all necessary information is captured for billing purposes; Collects patient co-pays or deductibles when applicable and informs patients of financial obligations; Places an armband on each patient before the patient leaves the department to ensure proper identification
