Entry-level Network Operations Technician

About the Role

Entry‑Level Network Operations Technician Daley & Associates is partnering with a leading provider in the telecommunications and infrastructure services industry to hire an entry‑level Network Operations Technician. This role supports the monitoring and maintenance of network systems that are critical to customer operations and field teams. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is detail‑oriented, customer‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced technical environment. This is a hybrid position in the Greater Raleigh, NC area. This is 6+ month contract position paying $15-20 per hour. Responsibilities Monitor network systems and respond to alarms and incidents. Open trouble tickets, perform initial troubleshooting, and document activity in a ticketing system. Provide basic break/fix support and elevate issues as needed. Communicate with internal teams, vendors, customers, and third‑party partners to support issue resolution. Respond to customer inquiries while supporting service level agreements (SLAs). Follow established procedures, job aids, and documentation. Open Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) tickets for outages impacting lighted towers. Escalate outages or unresolved issues within defined timeframes. Qualifications Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience or interest in network monitoring, troubleshooting, or technical support. 1–3 years of customer service experience preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and work well in a team environment.
