Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid) Salary: $89,250 – $150,250 per annum Role Overview We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the Global Risk & Compliance Technology team at American Express. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data models that power risk and compliance analytics across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines Build and maintain data models to support risk and compliance reporting Develop and optimize SQL queries for large-scale datasets Work with GCP technologies to implement cloud-based data solutions You’ll Bring 2–6+ years of experience in data engineering Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development Advanced SQL skills with experience handling large datasets Hands‑on experience building ETL/ELT workflows Why Apply?
