About the Role
Akkodis Data Engineer – Contract (Dearborn, MI – Hybrid) The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to collect, store, transform, and analyze large volumes of data in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders. Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Job Responsibilities Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate current and future data requirements into technical solutions. Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines and infrastructure for efficient data collection, storage, transformation, and analysis. Develop and manage data solutions such as data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures for structured and unstructured data. Create and maintain data models, workflows, and applications to ensure accurate, performant, and dependable data processing. Design and develop analytical tools, algorithms, scripts, and automation to support data engineering activities. Monitor data platform performance, ensure optimal operation, and proactively identify and implement improvement opportunities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field. Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on data engineering experience. Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and building scalable data pipelines. Experience with cloud‑based data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour.
