Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job
About the Role
Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when required, and operate CT scan equipment for an acute care hospital setting. You will produce diagnostic-quality cross-sectional images, modify technical settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, and perform routine quality control and basic maintenance on the CT scanner.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT technologist experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred.
- Graduate of a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) or Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or RT(R) with CT certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Demonstrated experience operating CT scanners and performing cross-sectional imaging protocols.
- Experience with contrast administration and monitoring of patients post-contrast.
- Ability to perform routine quality control and follow manufacturer-recommended maintenance procedures.
- Client requirement: Candidates must reside more than 90 miles from the facility.
- Preferred: Advanced certifications (e.g., ARRT CT credential if not required above) and prior experience with trauma or high-acuity inpatient imaging.

- Shift Pattern: 3x12 (three 12-hour night shifts per week)
