Sr. Ct Technologist, Full Time, Day Shift

We are comprised of a 25-bed critical access hospital and offer a range of services in Fort Bragg. Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patient's internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. Provides clinical care efficiently and effectively using a high level of technical and organizational skills as well as critical thinking ability. Education and Work Experience: Three years' CT technologist experience: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: ~ Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location. Ensures department, equipment and staffing meet requirements set forth by any accreditation maintained by facility (JCAHO, ACR, State Licensures, etc.).
