About the Role
A company is looking for an Application Data Modeler for a fully remote, 6-month contract opportunity. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with software engineering teams to design databases based on business requirements Utilize modern data modeling tools for physical data modeling Promote best practices in data modeling and ensure data integrity and security Required Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in Application Data Modeling with relational database design Experience with data modeling tools such as DbSchema, ER/Studio, or erwin Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server Understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and retention concerns Experience in Insurance, Insurtech, or Fintech environments
