About the Role

Agile Project Manager Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000 per year Job Type: Full-time Work Setting: Hybrid Timing: Immediate / Open until Filled Hill Associates is seeking a dynamic Agile Project Manager to drive standardization while managing and executing a variety of projects related to end-user Information Technology (IT) services in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role bridges the gap between technical administration and delivery facilitation—driving automation, visibility, and collaboration across enterprise projects. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on expertise in an IT-focused organization with strong Agile leadership, enabling continuous improvement, data‑driven insights, and predictable delivery outcomes in a mission‑driven environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile delivery teams, facilitating daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos. Partner with Product Owners to refine and manage backlogs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and release priorities. Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies, improving predictability, team velocity, and delivery quality. Track and communicate sprint performance and metrics through JIRA dashboards and Agile reports. Identify and remove impediments, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to promote Agile maturity and standardize delivery practices across the organization. Requirements Bachelor’s degree and 10 total years of related experience, or 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification. 3+ years of experience administering and developing with agile management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps. 3+ years serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Team Facilitator for technical or product teams. Proven experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and use of Agile metrics for performance improvement. Demonstrated ability to automate workflows and reporting using JQL, automation rules, and dashboards. Experience translating business requirements into technical workflows and reporting solutions. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including client‑facing experience. Desired Experience Federal Government experience supporting Agile or DevSecOps teams. SharePoint site and content administration. Atlassian Certified Expert, JIRA Administrator, or Confluence Administrator certifications. Familiarity with Power Automate, ServiceNow, or other ITSM/ticketing systems.Familiarity with service desk and ITIL frameworks in a large IT organization. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to facilitate collaboration between technical and business stakeholders, converting complex needs into actionable solutions. Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven, and dynamic environment.
