Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Manager
- Lead and mentor the Corporate AP team by providing training, guidance, and performance oversight as the Accounts Payable Manager.
- Oversee invoice processing, coding accuracy, tax review, approvals, and weekly payment cycles.
- Manage vendor setup, compliance documentation, ACH/wire enrollments, and ongoing vendor relationships.
- Reconcile AP ledger accounts, review aging reports, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support the month‑end close, audit requests, and documentation of AP policies and procedures as the Accounts Payable Manager.
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Manager
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience supervising an AP team in a high‑volume environment.
- Strong proficiency with AP systems and Excel, with demonstrated process‑improvement capability.
