Accounting Manager

Location: Onsite – Dayton, OH
Salary Range: $100,000–$140,000

We are seeking a strategic, results‑oriented Accounting Manager to join a growing financial institution. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing core accounting functions, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and team leadership. The Accounting Manager will partner closely with executive leadership to support sound financial decision‑making and long‑term organizational growth.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise within financial services or banking, proven supervisory experience, and the ability to lead in a highly regulated, fast‑paced environment.

• Lead and manage all accounting and financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Oversee asset/liability management (ALM), liquidity management, and capital planning activities
• Analyze key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and serve as a key liaison with internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Develop, mentor, and manage the accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency, controls, and reporting quality
• Support strategic initiatives as needed, including mergers, acquisitions, and new product or service offerings

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience within the financial services or banking industry
• 3+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements in financial services
