About the Role
Baylor University Medical Center - - Responsibilities: Registers patients at multiple locations and works in different department areas.; Verifies patient eligibility for insurance coverage and benefit levels for services; calculates and collects patient dues; establishes patient liability and advises on deposit requirements; negotiates payment arrangements with the patient as needed.; May be responsible for cashiering duties following established policies and procedures.; Assists patients to nursing units by providing directions, personal escort and medical mobility assistance (e.g., wheelchairs), when applicable.; Appropriately escalates potential service issues to management when necessary.
