Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant at Fordham Dermatology located in Bronx, NY. Responsibilities include assisting physicians and healthcare professionals with clinical tasks, managing patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and handling day-to-day operations in a medical office setting. Duties may also involve preparing examination rooms, coordinating patient schedules, and ensuring effective communication between the medical team and patients. Qualifications Proficiency in Medical Assisting, with experience in supporting physicians in clinical tasks Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology to ensure effective communication and accurate documentation Familiarity with Medical Offices and operational workflows Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and efficient Patient Care Experience in managing Medical Records, including organization and confidentiality Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is a plus
