This high-impact leadership role is pivotal in modernizing legacy data environments and driving the migration to a scalable, cloud-native analytics platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for re-architecting transformation logic, establishing enterprise standards for data modeling, and overseeing the decommissioning of legacy systems. A key focus is on building world-class data engineering practices, including the implementation of CI/CD frameworks, DataOps best practices, and the design of scalable, reliable data pipelines. The role also involves driving data quality, observability, and partnering across the business to deliver trusted data products. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in data engineering, with a proven background in the insurance industry. Strong expertise in Python and SQL, hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline optimization, and deep knowledge of AWS data services are essential. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in implementing CI/CD and DataOps practices, and experience with transformation frameworks and data quality tools is preferred.
