Valley Veterinary Hospital seeks a full-time customer service representative to join our team. We are looking for hardworking, motivated individuals who enjoy dogs and cats and want to work alongside us as a member of our busy team. At Valley Veterinary Hospital, we are passionate about the care we provide both for pets and clients. We are seeking a client service representative to support our goal of maintaining a cheerful, positive, and professional environment for our clients and their pets while providing them with what they need.
This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule though rotating Saturday shifts will be required. While we emphasize preventative and wellness care here at Valley Vet, we also offer a full range of services including surgery, dentistry, radiology, ultrasonography, and in-house lab work. Working alongside other team members, client service representatives answer phones and emails, scan in and maintain accurate records, schedule appointments, control the flow of clients and patients, create invoices, communicate extensively with clients, doctors and technicians, handle money, and open and/or close the hospital. Customer service representatives operate under the supervision of the Lead Customer Service Representative and/or Hospital Manager.
Qualifications include veterinary experience of 1+ year, passion for people and their pets, cheerful, positive, professional, compassionate, and a team player, punctuality and reliability, self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, multi-task, excellent communication and computer skills, ability to stand, bend, and sit for extended periods of time, knowledge of basic animal behavior and medical terminology, and weekend and evening availability.
