US - IT Full Stack Developer (Expert) (Contract) St. Louis, MO, United States (Hybrid) Contract (8 months 4 days) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced software development professional to join our dynamic team in a role that combines technical expertise with hands‑on collaboration. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with Manufacturing Automation engineers, bridging the gap between software development and operational technology. You will be responsible for the complete software development lifecycle, from initial analysis through deployment, while maintaining a commitment to software craftsmanship principles. This role requires on‑site travel to manufacturing facilities to implement, configure, and support automation systems, providing diverse experiences across multiple locations and projects. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive software development activities including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment Collaborate with Manufacturing Automation engineers to implement and configure automation solutions on‑site Set up and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services to support manufacturing operations Develop and troubleshoot Lambda functions for serverless computing applications Establish and maintain message queue systems for data consumption and distribution Connect to topics and tags to consume real‑time manufacturing data Configure and support Unified Namespace architectures for Allen Bradley and Siemens systems Implement and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft and Ocelot Manage GitHub repositories and version control processes Configure and maintain IAM roles and permissions for secure system access Support IoT implementations and connectivity solutions Challenge existing processes and introduce innovative approaches to problem‑solving Travel to manufacturing sites as needed to provide technical support and implementation services Skills AWS setup and management DevOps practices and methodologies Lambda function development and troubleshooting GitHub version control and collaboration IAM roles and permissions management MuleSoft integration platform Ocelot API gateway Message queue technologies S7 Siemens automation systems Unified Namespace architecture Allen Bradley and Siemens industrial automation platforms IoT connectivity and implementation Manufacturing automation and OT systems Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Excellent collaborative and communication skills Experience Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience Proven experience working with manufacturing automation systems Demonstrated experience in cloud infrastructure management Background in operational technology and industrial automation environments This is an exceptional opportunity to work at the intersection of modern cloud technologies and manufacturing automation, where your contributions will have direct and visible impact on production operations.
