Truck Yard Worker Pay Rate: $17 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:55 AM - Until (First Shift) Type: Temporary to Permanent (based on performance) Location: Savannah, GA 31408 Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Truck Yard Worker to join our team. This position involves working outdoors, assisting with strapping and unstrapping cargo, and helping maintain a clean and organized yard as directed by the Yard Supervisor. A positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities Assist with strapping and unstrapping cargo on trucks and containers. Keep the yard clean, organized, and free of debris according to Yard Supervisor instructions. Perform general labor tasks as needed to support yard operations. Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Qualifications Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Forklift experience is a strong plus. Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects as needed.
