Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel X-Ray Technician with at least 18 months of experience for a night shift contract at a large acute care hospital in Morristown, NJ.
Details
Large 900-bed acute care hospital radiology department
Experience with OR-based imaging is required
GE imaging equipment is used
Epic is the EMR system used for charting
Night shift schedule: 3x13-hour shifts per week from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
On-call is required for this position
Requirements
Minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technician
Graduate of an accredited radiography school
Active NJ State RT License required if applicable
Current ARRT certification
Current BLS certification
Experience with GE imaging equipment
Ability to work independently in a large hospital setting
Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
Responsible for equipment setup, maintenance, safety assessment, and troubleshooting
Monitor patients physical and physiological comfort throughout procedures and coordinate daily imaging workflow
May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from the initial start date; a break of 30–60 days is required before returning to a new assignment
Two professional references are required for consideration
